The California Subject Examinations for Teachers: American Sign Language (CSET:
ASL) was first administered on November 5, 2005. At the February 1, 2006
Commission meeting, the Commission established 220 as the passing score for
each of the three CSET: ASL subtests.

The National Evaluation Systems, Inc. (NES) will release the score reports
for individuals who took the November 2005 test administration by February
27, 2006. The next CSET: ASL test administration is scheduled for May 20,
2006, and will be held in two test areas, one in northern California and the
other in southern California. Please refer to the CSET Web site, http://www.cset.nesinc.com,
for exam content and registration information.
