AOL and ASLU:

I've already compressed the graphics on this site.  If you let your AOL browser compress them more--the graphics will be "too compressed."

Don't want that now do we?

Prior to using this site you should check and, if necessary, adjust your settings.

The procedure will vary depending on which version of AOL you are using.

Here is a general procedure to try:

Settings>
Preferences>
Internet Properties (WWW)
Then choose the "Web Graphics" tab.
Select "Never compress graphics."

On older versions of AOL, Click on:

> My AOL
> Preferences
> "WWW" icon
> "Web Graphics" tab
> Clear the "Use compressed graphics" box.

ALSO, if you want to see updates to these pages, you are going to need to deal with the fact that AOL tends to use old pages from your cache instead of downloading the new version of the page each time.

To work around this all you need to do is press and hold your Ctrl key while clicking on your AOL browser's refresh button.

If you are visiting a page for the first time, you don't need to "refresh" the page.  But if you are coming back after a few weeks and suspect the page may have been updated--that's the time to do it.
