American Sign Language: "cents"


It is interesting is that the sign for "cent"  seems in some weird way to have originated as a spin off of the word "sense" as in "good sense" or "smarts."  I'd love to see some research on this one!



PENNY or CENT:


Touch the index finger to the right side of your forehead, pull your finger out and down, hold the finger in the air for a brief moment.
