American Sign Language: "blouse"

The sign for "blouse" is a classic old sign that can be used to mean either "shirt" or "blouse." I personally don't use it much but many of my older friends still use it as their main sign.

The sign for "blouse" is made by placing your right hand in front of your chest, palm down and somewhat back. The side of your index finger touching your chest..  Move your hand down to your waist in an arc ending with your little finger touching your  lower belly.

BLOUSE:

Personally, unless I'm eating a sandwich, I would do this sign with two hands instead of just one hand.

BLOUSE (two handed version)
