Teaching ASL: Fingerspelling Activity: "You're a liar!"

[Name review]

After a couple weeks of class it might be time to play "You're a liar!"

Tell students that they can either spell their name or they can spell the name of someone else in class.

Have your students sit in a circle and go around spelling their names.

If someone spells your name instead of their own name, you should stomp your foot while waving your hand once firmly for attention, point at the student who spelled your name and sign with big movements, "YOU LIAR!" (You're a liar!)

The liar should apologize (SORRY) and then spell his/her real name.
